VANHIVAX, HIV/AIDS: A Summary Update (Part III)

Repairing the Immune Incompetence of HIV/AIDS

The fall in the numbers of CD4+ by death, as stated above, following the growth and development of the HIV within the CD4+ can only be halted by killing the viruses or significantly reducing their numbers. By sparing the CD4+ and allowing them to increase to normal levels restores the immune competence. Enveloped HIV viruses cannot be killed by effective simple antibodies induced by VANHIVAX! However, VANHIVAX, when given in a way that provokes cell mediated immune response CMI damages the viral envelope and allows VANHIVAX, effective antibodies, to enter and kill the virus within! It is this important ability to provoke a CMI that makes the VANHIVAX successful for many patients. One suspects that any specific vaccine of HIV that can be made to provoke CMI in the patient will do the same thing!

The effectiveness of VANHIVAX depends, as all immunologic reactions, on complement. Since all HIV/AIDS patient have a shortage of complement from the start, it is necessary for the success of VANHIVAX, to top up the complement or supply it to the patient by the transfusion of 1 or 2 units from fresh normal healthy blood donors free from HIV, hepatitis B & C and syphilis.

We have found out recently that if complement is transfused, we can wash a small sample of the patient's blood to remove all traces from it of any antibodies to HIV, free viruses and substances which might interfere with VANHIVAX. To this washed sample we add normal serum of the patient's blood group free from HIV. This ensures that the few normal uninfected leucocytes present in the sample were as it were, in a normal uninfected or just infected person. To this mixture is added 1 ml of the patient's VANHIVAX vaccine and the mixture is re-injected subcutaneously into the patient concerned 5 minutes later. The above procedure is repeated several days later so as to provoke a cell mediated immune response to HIV from the patient which damages the envelope of the virus! After such treatment, it is observed that his viral count falls rapidly, and the general health of the patient improves, his feeling of fatigue disappears. This treatment may be repeated 6 months later if necessary after the necessary compliment.

When the viral count falls (to below 100 or even less) and the CD4+ rises (to above (350) and the CD4+/T8 ratio above 0.5, this restores to near normal the immune competence of the patient who can then be given a \preventive vaccine against HIV prepared in vitro, and ensures a Cell Mediated Immune response to HIV in the patient. This eliminates the few remnant of the virus in the patient and protects them against future re-infection by the same strain of virus!

What ever the scientific explanation of above phenomenon might eventually be, it is quite remarkable that the apparent vaccination to provoke a cell mediated immune response, of a small sample of blood from an HIV patient provided it is washed free of all antibodies, and re-suspended in normal HIV- free serum with adequate complement,, will cause the rapid destruction of viruses throughout the body!

It nevertheless opens up new prospects for treating other chronic viral infection such Hepatitis B & C and perhaps cancers!

All patients with 'normal' immune competence after treatment or those who arrive with low viral counts and high CD4+ from the start were given a permanent preventive vaccination against HIV prepared in vitro provoking a CMI. This eliminates the few remaining viruses and prevents future HIV infection of the same strain and so protects them for life!

RESULTS. We were able to record 23 well documented patients whose HIV sero-positive report was converted to sero-negative following various VANHIVAX treatments only. These have been cured of their HIV with vaccines alone. They represent however the tip of the ice-berg. The stigma against HIV in our society is so great that some patients don't want to admit they had been infected with HIV even when they are cured! Others did not complete the course of treatment once they felt better! Such patients are lost to follow-up and so the actual number of persons cured is probably greater than our records show!

VANHIVAX, HIV/AIDS:
A Summary Update

Before setting out against an enemy as formidable as the HIV, it is prudent and even very important to understand thoroughly the enemy; (1)to know as much as possible about the structure and any significant or unusual elements of the structure of the virus, (2) to interpret correctly the role played by such elements, (3) if possible the evolution of the virus and (4) to fully understand the biological consequences or effects of the presence of the virus in the body because a virus that persists must have some effects on the body.
